KS AFL-CIO 2020 COPE ENDORSEMENTS

KS AFL-CIO COPE CONVENTION DELEGATES MAKE ENDORSEMENTS  The KANSAS AFL-CIO has taken action this July to Endorse 2020 Candidates for Political Office. State AFL-CIO Officers said it just makes sense to get behind candidates early for support. Congresswoman Sharice Davids (CD-3) could use more help in our Nation’s Capitol responsibly serving the interests of working people of the State of Kansas and America. Working Families deserve better representation in Washington and in Topeka. We want to be part of helping them get in the position to lift up every day workers and speak on our behalf. While Governor Kelly understands most Kansans live paycheck to paycheck, State Legislators too are outnumbered when it come to addressing worker issues. Especially during these uncertain times, security, workplace safety, equality, dignity and respect are all in the best interests of our country going forward and will position us to meet the challenges of the future. On July 24th the Convention Delegates endorsed the following candidates:
